Odd Japanese English: Freeter

It seems that the concept of getting a job in Japan is getting a full-time job from 9-5pm. Freelancers and unemployed are two different things and throwing a "Freeter" word to cover both is rather inappropriate IMO.

  1. If I am not mistaken for unemployed they are called NEET. Or is it not? I am not really sure myself...

    1. Yes! Specifically to young people who do not seek any form of employment and does not do housework as well.
