Follia Italian Restaurant Review

Follia Italian Restaurant evacomics review
To my fans who love to eat like me, you are in luck! :P
I was recently invited to dine at a fine casual Italian restaurant and was simply impressed by the great food and service, so here is my review with a surprise behind!

Drinks:

I ordered this sparkling drink, called San Pellegrino Blood Orange, that was imported from Italy. It costs only $3.80 and tastes fantastic!

The cappuccino had such a creamy thick foam that the sugar did not go down!

Appetizers:

 Patate Pancetta e Taleggio $12.80

It's actually layered potatoes with bacon, cheese and onions inside. I'm not really a potato person but my friend who does loved it.

Burrata with Rocket Salad and Tomato $25. This was VERY GOOD! Basically it is solid mozzarella cheese on the outside and creamy mozzarella inside. Yummy!

Bisque Di Aragosta, which is essentially Lobster Bisque. Tastes very fresh and flavourful. A bit salty to my liking but my friend who is a cantonese loved it a lot.

Main:

Scaloppine Milanese $22.90, which is shallow fried veal (flesh of young calf). The porcini sauce matched perfectly with the very tender meat :D

Osso buco alla Milanese $28.90, which is veal shank with risotto. The bread was freshly baked by their chef!

Spaghetti Al Nero Di Seppia is squid ink pasta. The pasta was freshly made with squid ink by their chef to a fine al dente texture :) But don't eat this on your first date because it will stain your teeth and lips...

Dessert:

Panna Cotta $8.90, which is a kind of Italian milk pudding. VERY DELICIOUS!

Sebadas $13.90, which is a deep fried pastry filled with pecorino cheese, served with berries and ice-cream!

You had to pour honey over to enjoy it.

The chef is a Singaporean but his partner is an Italian in charge of overall service so you can be assured that you will be receiving top notch Italian food and hospitality!
