  2. Ha-ha. I think I'll dice into small pieces anybody, who will tell me that my cooking is bad. So, You should be happy that people in S-pore are kind.

BTW, how was Your moving? Its took 3 days for You, enough for lazy walk from Tokyo to S-pore. Did You unpack Your socks?

    ewww ...

    1. Haha... yeah I was really busy unpacking, but I also had to trash and recycle a lot of my old things to make way for new stuff. A lot have grown moldy.... Singapore is too humid!

    2. Poor Eva. Hope that You aren't much stressed. Usually, I put some special mark on a box with socks, and ... ewww ... each time I have had to buy new, cuz it is impossible to find old ones. Hope that You does not have such problems, since You are MBA and smart.

Are Your parents happy to see You? Will You live with them?

      ewww ...

    3. Well I know where my things are but I underestimated the humidity in Singapore... many of my books, sketchbooks and tools, etc. have grown moldy... sigh!

My parents are happy to see me and I'm staying with them for the moment until my sister's tenant move out sometime late this year...

  4. In the US we could get any number of the answers, depending on the coarseness of a persons personality, and perhaps also thier current mood. Most of us consider being very frank to be rude, but there are also those who consider avoiding a frank answer to be rude. Really the best answer is probably to simply say it's "not bad". "Not bad" is like unique in that it doesn't actually say that it's good or bad, but those receiving that answer generally consider it as meaning it's good.
